First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at NextCare.
Physician Assistant
Had a phone interview and got an on the spot offer. The questions were simple and mostly about explaining the job role, certification, and licensing, with no medical questions. We also discussed pay on the spot. It was very laid-back with another APP, more conversational than an interview.
- What makes you want to work in urgent care?
Credentialing Specialist
I went through 3 interview rounds where we talked about how the job works and my availability. It turned out the work hours didn't work for me, but the interviewers were nice and friendly and asked questions related to the job.
- What's your experience duration in this field?
PTR
The interview process was quick, but pretty standard. You can find the questions online pretty easily. The questions asked weren't really specific to a medical setting. Since clinic managers conduct the interviews individually, each one is different. The questions don't really reveal much about your personality or how you work; if you know how to answer them, it's easy to do well in the interview.
- What are your strengths?
- What are your weaknesses?
- Tell me about a major accomplishment of yours.
Patient Service Specialist
The hiring process was straightforward. I applied through Indeed. I got a call about three days later, but I missed it. Shortly after, I received an email asking me to contact the office for an interview. The clinic lead contacted me, which was unexpected since I thought the manager would.
- Do you consider yourself compassionate?
- Can you describe your previous job history?
- What relevant experience do you have?
