Assistant Coordinator
I had 4 interviews in total. The first was a round of questions, then a phone interview, followed by meeting with the manager, and finally meeting with the COO. They were really quick to get me scheduled and it was a pretty smooth process.
- What do you do for fun?
- Is there a skill you want to get better at?
- What are your greatest strengths?
Sales
Can you tell me a little about yourself? This question seems simple, so many people fail to prepare for it, but it's crucial. Here's the deal: Don't give your complete employment (or personal) history. Instead give a pitch—one that’s concise and compelling and that shows exactly why you’re the right fit for the job. Start off with the 2-3 specific accomplishments or experiences that you most want the interviewer to know about, then wrap up talking about how that prior experience has positioned you for this specific role.
- Tell me about yourself.
Intern
My interview process at Next PR was fast, smooth, and adaptable. I was able to interview while juggling a full course load, a part-time job, extracurriculars, and other interviews. Ange was super supportive and kept in touch throughout, making sure everything went well. I got another offer mid-process, and Next PR expedited their timeline to give me a decision so I could respond to the other offer. My second interview was during my spring break trip to California, and they were really flexible in rescheduling it given my situation. Both interviewers were great, asking interesting questions but keeping the conversation casual. The seamless process was a major factor in my decision to accept this internship over another!
- Can you share a campaign or project that you're proud of?
Assistant Account Executive
Got referred by a friend. I sent my resume and got invited for an in-person interview the next week. Had a quick, good chat with the CEO and had to send in a paragraph about why he should hire me. I was offered a 3-month internship and accepted it to start the following Monday.
