I met them first at our career fair. Then there was a round of behavioral questions and a technical phone interview before this event called "super Saturday". They paid for all expenses for the trip to the NYC headquarter. The super Saturday included a series of interviews throughout the day. First, a written test on paper covering basic software engineering topics - it wasn't hard but was comprehensive. Then, a test on the computer mainly for html, css, and javascript, where the main task was to replicate demos using css, html, and javascript. Second, I talked to employees who introduced their teams' jobs (this didn't seem like an interview). Third, a behavioral interview with two employees, not HR people but actual employees.

Applied online after submitting resume at a career fair, got an interview invite two days later. The on-site had two interviews: one behavioral, and a technical one with basic HTML/CSS/PHP/MySQL questions. Then invited to a 'Super Saturday' event in NYC, with travel and accommodation covered (though shared hotel rooms and train tickets were a surprise). It was exhausting with ~50 candidates. During the event, employee talks about 'amazing life' and 'work-life balance' seemed exaggerated given ex-employee reviews mentioning long hours. CEO mentioned working 60 hours/week. The event included two 30-min and 60-min tests, with technical questions covering CSS layout, PHP array functions, JS counters, Big-O, and more PHP questions that seemed too time-consuming given the constraints.

It was an on-campus recruitment process. First, there was a 30-minute behavioral interview. Then, a 30-minute technical interview followed, covering basic questions on OOP, PHP, Algorithms, Database Design, and HTML/CSS. They mentioned that cultural fit is really important and is the main reason candidates get disqualified, so knowing about their culture is key for behavioral answers. I felt good about the technical part, but the behavioral might have been where I fell short.
