Supplier Quality Engineer
Recruiter initiated a call, asking about certifications and prior experience with international suppliers. Then, I met with the hiring manager for a 60-minute session where they explained the organization and detailed the role's expectations. This was followed by technical questions.
- Tell me about your experience with international suppliers.
- What is your manufacturing background?
- What certifications do you have?
Purchaser
They first postponed the initial interview. When we finally spoke, she asked the classic opening questions: “Tell me about yourself,” “Why do you want this job?” “What are your salary expectations?” and “When could you start?” She said there would be two more interviews—one with the hiring manager and another with both HR and the hiring manager—and promised to update me once the manager’s schedule was clear. She even added, “I’ll update you by Friday at the latest.” Of course, she didn’t. I sent a follow‑up email, but she still hasn’t responded. (it has been 2 weeks) They may be professional at ghosting, but they’re certainly not professional in their work.
- Can you describe the challenges you have encountered in your present position?
Data Specialist
The interview process involved several stages: Direction de Projet, Talent Developer, RH, Métier Fonctionnel, and Métier opérationnel. Most interviews were conducted via video conference, with a follow-up in-person meeting with the teams. A language test was also administered to assess proficiency.
- Can you explain your understanding of the scope?
- Could you elaborate on the needs of the position?
- What are your métier (field/domain) knowledge?
Contract Specialist
The interview process started with a recruiter call, followed by a screening interview. Then there were two more interviews, with the final one being with the RH manager. Everyone was friendly, except for one contract manager during the second interview who made me uncomfortable, even though I remained professional. The other interviews were very positive, but unfortunately, I didn't get an offer. The reason given seemed questionable, and the position went to an internal employee.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What is your understanding of our company?
- What motivated you to apply for this position?
