The interview process involved multiple rounds, conducted entirely via phone and Zoom due to Covid. There were approximately five separate calls. The initial interview was with an HR representative. One notable part of the process included a 5-minute phone presentation where I had to teach them something.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process for this role at Nexamp was quite extensive, lasting 2.5 months from the initial call to the final decision, and included 4 interviews, a design exercise, and a personality assessment. Despite their apparent eagerness to hire, the company seemed disorganized and unprepared for this position. The process began just before several key hiring team members went on vacation, which significantly delayed communication and slowed things down. Interestingly, after over two months of waiting, they changed the role they were hiring for, indicating a lack of clear internal communication about the position's requirements and support needs.

  • What's your background with slide presentations?

The process started with an initial call, then a technical part, and I had 3 video interviews followed by an offer. I had mentioned wanting a remote work option throughout the whole interview process, and at the end, when they offered me the position onsite, I asked if it could be remote, which seemed well-received by the team as most were already doing this. I was then notified they extended an offer to someone else even though my remote work environment was a preference.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you describe your general experience and how it relates to this role?
  • Were you successful in the technical exam?
