Behavioral Presentation

It was a pretty long process, took me hours over 6 weeks. Started with a recruiter screen, then a call with a director, then the hiring manager. After that I had a formal presentation, then a call with the CFO, and another meeting with the hiring manager. There were also some virtual hangouts with other teams. They told me my presentation was one of the best they'd seen and then asked if I wanted the job. But then after three more interviews, they gave me a verbal offer with salary, start date, and a territory map. After all that, they ghosted me and sent a rejection letter. I asked the hiring manager for an explanation but never got one. It was really unprofessional, and honestly, I'm glad I didn't end up working there.

The interview process was pretty long and really in depth, taking about a month overall through the recruiter. It started with a 45-minute phone interview with the hiring manager. Next, there was a written assessment with scenario-based questions where I had to type out mock responses within 90 minutes, testing my writing and articulation skills for dealing with teachers and principals. The third interview was a 2-hour face-to-face meeting with four people from different levels of the company. The final round also lasted about 2 hours, where I met with three different people to discuss my background and my interest in working for Newsela.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

This was the worst, most unprofessional interview experience ever. I had to guess the job title since nobody knew who I was interviewing for. They messed up the first interview times, saying they told each other but not me, making me rush over to meet only 2 out of 3 people. I let it slide, thinking everyone has off days. But then it took three weeks to hear back, only to be told the original role was gone, though they had others. I agreed to interview for those, but it never progressed. I was ghosted for weeks again, and I emailed them 3+ times before any response. They also missed scheduled calls, even after I sent confirmation emails. The whole thing took two months before I gave up. They are unprofessional and have no clue what they're doing. You don't want to work here!
