The Talent Acquisition person reached out to me for a first screening. After that, I had three more interviews with the regional executive director, clinical director, and c-level executive. The entire process took a few weeks, which is pretty standard for screenings and getting clearances.

It was a zoom call, pretty easy. They asked about 6-10 questions, mainly about my background in education. At the end, they asked if I had any questions about the job. They were really understanding and encouraging about my background in different careers. I got a zoom link with a passcode and username, just in case the link didn't work.

I found it disappointing that I did not receive a courtesy email informing me of the outcome of my application. Additionally, I must express my concerns about the conduct of Scott, the interviewer. Throughout the interview process, I experienced frequent interruptions, which I perceived as disrespectful and indicative of a lack of professional boundaries within the organization. This experience has given me cause to question the organization's values and practices.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process overall was smooth. There was a lack of communication between the recruiter and hiring managers though. A recruiter contacted me about a role outside my usual field, but my outreach experience made me a potential candidate for this public health position. Initial interviews focused on my prior experience. I went through two recruiter screens, an interview with the department manager, and a peer-to-peer interview. The final round involved the department manager and the head of outreach. For this final interview, I had to prepare a presentation with minimal guidance, which they said was intentional. I didn't know we'd be meeting in a large coworking space. After the recruiter gave me directions to a locked door, I spent 15 minutes trying to contact the interviewer. At the end, they expressed concern about hiring someone without direct field experience.
