Buyer
It was a pretty long process that took some time but overall it was average. There were 3 steps, each different in complexity: interview with HR, with the Manager, and with the CEO.
- What work did you do previously?
Manager
It was a long day, from 8 am to 4 pm. We had group discussions, one-on-one chats, and I even took a tour of the site. They didn't ask standard behavioral questions, but they were checking out my technical skills and how I interact with people throughout the whole day. This included my answers, the questions I asked them, how I worked with others in the group, in the one-on-ones, and during the site visit.
- Could you elaborate on your professional background?
- Can you share details about the subjects you covered in your conference presentations?
- Would you be able to present the PowerPoint slides from your conference talks?
Car Salesman
After all the paperwork, background check, UA, etc, there weren't too many questions. Mainly about how I feel about my sales skills (and I feel pretty good) and also asked me if I was able to work whenever they needed me. (Of course I said without a doubt). I am used to be going gone 2 weeks or as much as 5 weeks at a time so working 7 days straight when I am home every night is not a problem. (Don't get me wrong I do enjoy traveling for business)
- Do you have sales experience? What makes you confident in your ability to sell cars?
Marketing
I got ghosted after my second interview, no call or email. I took the day off and went into their office for an in-person interview when I could have been with my family. This company is a waste of your time because they don't practice professionalism.
- Are you available to work in the office Monday through Friday?
