I reached out to the manager of the Houston office, sent my resume, and inquired about potential openings. After some back-and-forth emails, I was invited to the office for an interview. The interview focused on my graduate research and the company's work. About three months later, I was called back to the office and offered the job.

It was a long process. There were two interviews, one in-person at the company and another virtual one with the president. I also had to do a small project based on environmental laws. English was tested in both interviews. They asked for technical knowledge that is outside the scope of chemical engineers.
