It was a long, drawn-out process that felt repetitive. Communication was really poor between the 3 interviews which took place over 4 months. Then there was a final presentation interview, after which I was ghosted for another 3 months. Honestly, it didn't feel like professional management or that they respected my time and effort.

The interview felt very formal and uncomfortable, like they weren't really interested in having me there. The panel members didn't seem to be working well together, and I could sense the tension and hierarchy in the room. Once we sat down, I felt like I just wanted to leave because it was obvious they had already decided I wasn't a good fit. It seemed like they were just going through the motions because someone suggested they see me. It was unfortunate, but it definitely gave me a lot of insight into the company culture, which was helpful. Overall, a very uptight interview experience.

Wasn't successful first time but asked how I could improve and they called me back about another position. They emailed about the money and relocation since I'm in a different state and asked if I wanted to continue, which I did. They told me relocation wasn't an option later, saying it was the manager's discretion after they'd already asked if I wanted to proceed.

So, the process involves using this platform called Vervoe assessment. It's a mix of written and video responses, and the questions are really specific to the mining world. For example, they might show you pictures of a mining site or play a recording of a supervisor talking about something that happened.
