It was pretty straight forward. A few technical questions about data analysis. It took them 4 months to get back to me and say they were no longer hiring. I followed up numerous times and didn't get any response during that four month period.

This role's interview process felt off from the start. It had 2 rounds, and in both, no one used their camera, which I found concerning. The questions asked were pretty standard, mostly behavioral, and seemed to be the same for everyone. The second round involved an hour-long interview after I submitted an assignment. This assignment felt less like an exercise and more like actual work they didn't want to do themselves, essentially seeking free labor. The instructions for the assignment were also incredibly unclear, which was unprofessional. They didn't ask many questions about the assignment during the interview, just repeated questions from the first round. Despite promises to keep me updated on the decision, they went completely silent, not responding even after I followed up multiple times with reasonable breaks in between.

I had an initial interview that was a panel with three different people from the department. I thought it went well and was told "we will follow up every step of the way, even to let you know if we selected other candidates" and "we are looking to fill the position fast, 2-3 weeks" (word for word). I sent a thank you letter a few days after the interview and heard nothing; the following week, I asked for a follow up and still nothing; and by the second week, I follow up again and not one of the 4 people on the email responded.

I got a call from HR saying my resume was picked. She did a pre-screening on the phone asking me basic questions about my background. She then forwarded my details and said she'd get back to me after checking with the hiring manager.
