First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at New Western.
Disposition Agent
It was easy, mostly asking about my background, education, and how wholesaling works. After the interviews, I went to the office for a ride-along, and if I liked it and felt comfortable, I was pretty much hired right then and there.
- Tell me about your real estate knowledge and the process of wholesaling, and your schedule?
- What do you know about real estate, the process of wholesaling, and your schedule?
Management
The first interview was with a recruiter, and they asked straightforward questions about my work history, personality, and career goals. The second interview was with the team, and it was more about personality fit than work experience. The third interview was also about personality, but it also included some on-the-spot thinking.
- Tell me about your knowledge of real estate.
Acquisition Agent
It was conversational. They inquired about my background and I thought they were quite informed. They seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say. The ride-along experience was impactful. After that, I was asked to present to the group, which was a new experience for me.
- Are you hungry?
- Do you really want this job, as it requires gusto?
Escrow Assistant
I took a personality test first. Then I had a quick chat with a recruiter, followed by interviews with two people from different departments. The last interview was the longest and involved some unexpected random questions, but that's part of the process I guess. It felt like a waste of time to go through three interviews and then get rejected.
- Was the pay scale aligned with my expectations?
- Was I hesitant about hard work?
- Did I have any issues with reviewing documents?
