It was a positive and supportive interview process. I felt welcomed and comfortable speaking and making myself heard from the start. It was mainly getting to know me and explaining the job itself, with only about 2-3 questions.

I applied for the job and heard back quickly from the recruiter to set up a phone interview. She then passed my info along to the Regional Director. I gave him a few dates I was free the next week, but he asked for more dates the week after that. This happened for three weeks, and then I heard nothing else. I'm glad I didn't end up working there. If the manager can't even take the time to follow up with a candidate or at least let them know someone else got the job, I can only imagine how the team members are treated.

The hiring process involved some scenario-based questions related to the counseling role, which were quite simple. I also had to complete a worksheet asking how I would manage specific client issues or situations. The job offer was contingent on passing a background check and a drug test. Once all checks were cleared, I could start. The entire process lasted about a month.
