I had a phone screening about 2-3 weeks after I sent in my application. Then, about a week after that, I had an in person interview where they also gave me a tour of the facilities. It took them about another week to do the reference checks.

I met with two managers and the person who is leaving the position. They explained the job responsibilities to me. They really emphasized how tough the role is and asked me many hypothetical questions.

About 2-3 weeks after I applied online, an Assistant Director emailed me for an interview. I met with the Executive Director and two Assistant Directors in a conference room. They asked me about 7-10 pre-written questions, switching back and forth. The interview was about 30 minutes long. They said they had more people to interview and that HR can take a while, so I should hear back in 2-3 weeks. I emailed a few times to follow up, but didn't get a response. I later saw the job status changed to 'Position Filled'. It was a good experience, but I was bummed I didn't find out directly that it was filled.
