The interview process was really professional and organized, which made for a great experience. Dealing with the recruiting team was a pleasure; they were always efficient and accurate in managing the timeline and the overall process. Everyone I interacted with during the process was also consistent and very positive.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was very seamless and well organized. I initially had an interview with the recruiter, Cat Blue, who is absolutely fantastic! She was very nice, had a positive attitude, passionate about what she does, answered all my questions diligently, and provided great feedback for me. I had a phone interview that same week with Kevin Mattos and on-site interview with Kevin and Matt Adle a couple weeks later. They are both fantastic and gave me great insight on the company and their background. Everyone wants you to succeed and I could tell during the interview. They were both very easy to get along with so that definitely calmed my nerves. The total process was extremely quick and I was very happy about that. The only constructive feedback I would give is to keep the interviewee consistently updated after their onsite interview on when they would be contacted regarding a decision. For my process, I waited awhile without any communication until the date I received my offer. Other than that small thing, New Relic did a fantastic job in making the interview process a breeze! Thanks for the great experience!

Behavioral Case

They are very responsive if you have experience in the APM market. The process was fairly quick and coordinated well. I give praise to the HR folks for staying on top of the process for as many people they want to hire. Unfortunately as the process evolved their was a sense of something being hidden like a cultural flaw that they did not want revealed. I got the impression that the job is incredibly robotic. Heavy use of SFDC leads to less personal collaboration and human intervention which is usually done in SAAS companies to get rid of people quickly. I felt friction in the sales community and felt a sense of phoniness with the sales team. Unfortunately this company may be great on the technical side of the house but not the sales side.
