So the first interview was this surprise panel interview with three folks from the department over teams, and then I had to do a writing sample in the office. It was a really quick prompt they gave me to see if I was a good fit for the job.

I had interviews with three different people, and it felt like a lot of questions all at once. I had to do a writing sample right there during the interview, and it was pretty overwhelming to take it all in on the same day. They also talked about some other responsibilities that weren't in the initial job posting. After a whole month, I heard back saying they went with someone else.

The whole thing took about 3 months from when I applied online to getting the offer. First, I had a quick call with the recruiter to set up a video interview. Then, I interviewed with a panel. About a week after that, they called me with an offer.
