First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at New Hudson Facades.
Design Engineer
It was pretty much standard rounds with behavioural, technical, and a group discussion. There were questions and answers covering different aspects of the job. They also focused on technical and software application in standard industrial applications, specifically on facade integrity. They assessed how you handle short timelines and end-goal project alignment.
- What are your thoughts on cross-team collaboration and how do you handle working in a fast-paced setting?
Engineer
I applied online and got a call from a recruiter within a week. It was just a quick chat about the job and to set up an in-person interview for two weeks later. The in-person part had two sessions, each about 30-60 minutes long, with two senior engineers. They asked about my resume and past internship work, plus some behavioral stuff. It felt pretty relaxed and the managers seemed approachable, like they are during work. I heard back within a week and got an offer.
- Can you tell me about a detailed project you worked on in school or professionally?
- How do you manage your time and stay organized with multiple deadlines approaching?
- What about this role and company attracts you?
Design Engineer
I had two rounds of interviews on the same day, both with managers. The first round had two managers, and the second round had one. They mainly asked questions about my resume, and I talked about my past experiences. I also asked them some questions. The first managers didn't seem very engaged with my background, but the second manager was very interested, and we had a good conversation. No other topics were discussed besides my resume.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
