The interview process started with an email to schedule the interview and it seemed professional. Upon arrival at the office park, the inside of their office was dirty with unvacuumed rugs and loud entertainment from different rooms. I was brought to a young man's almost bare office for the interview. He sounded rehearsed while describing the company and then asked why I would be good for the position. He invited me back for a second interview, but I declined.

This is a super fast hiring process. First, there's an initial interview where the manager gives you the lowdown on the company and growth opportunities. They'll ask some basic questions like 'what can you do for this company?'. If you pass that (which pretty much everyone does), you'll have a second interview the next day with full-time employees. They'll take you to the nearest Home Depot to explain the job details and compensation. Then, back at the office for a third round where they'll ask what you learned and some basic fit questions. If you pass that (again, most people do), they'll offer you a spot on the team and ask you back for a workshop the following day. So, make sure your schedule is open if you currently have another job.

I went to New Horizon Promotions and met with a very friendly person who made me feel welcome. I had to fill out a questionnaire and attach my resume, then wait for the hiring manager. The hiring manager told me about the company's history and asked about my leadership, work ethic, organization, and time management skills. We also talked about pay. The next day, I had a second interview where I learned more about the company, the work hours, and the salary. I met with the assistant manager, who was also nice and professional.

The interview started with an empty reception desk. After a short wait, someone greeted me and led me into the main office. I was given a clipboard to fill out a form about my work history, salary, and references from the past 3 years before the interview. This seemed redundant as I was asked to bring a hard copy of my resume and references list via email. The interviewer wasn't quite ready even after I finished the paperwork, so I had to wait a bit longer. I learned the job involved approaching Home Depot customers to sign them up for a promotion, which immediately made me lose interest.
