First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at New Horizon Academy.
Team Leader
The hiring process was pretty straightforward and quick. Once I submitted my application, I was contacted fairly rapidly. I ended up declining the offer because the salary wasn't what I was hoping for.
- What are your career aspirations and what do you seek in a role?
Substitute Teacher
The interview was done over Teams. It took me like 2 years to get the interview because they kept ghosting me. The interview was pretty easy and the recruiter was nice. I didn't get the job even though I have experience.
- Can you explain how you are reliable?
- Could you tell me about your experience?
- What makes you want to work for New Horizon?
Teacher Aide
The interview process was good. We talked about different teaching strategies and how to manage behavior. The director was nice and listened well. I got a detailed tour of the center. I was interested in the company, but the offer they gave was too low.
- What are your five-year career goals?
Teacher
The interview process was very brief. They didn't have an organized way of interviewing candidates and seemed eager to hire someone. There's a lot of turnover in the childcare industry, and this place was no exception.
- Can you tell me about your years of experience?
