The interview process involved some questions about my past sales and job history. The interviewer briefly talked about my character and then, in the second interview, asked me to sell him a stapler. I explained the stapler's features and benefits, and it seems I got the job because I'm still here!

So, initially I met with management, and then I had another meeting with the General Manager. It turns out there was a bit of a hiccup because the person who was supposed to schedule my interview two weeks prior had actually been let go before my initial interview date, so no one had me down. Management does the initial screening, and if they think there's a potential fit, you then go on to meet with the General Manager.

I met with three different people during the interview process. They all seemed nice and the company seemed like a great place to work. However, I was completely put off when they said the pay was minimum wage. I think a company that values its employees would pay them enough to live on. It felt like they were looking for someone who just needed a little extra cash, not someone trying to build a career.

It was pretty easy, I filled out an application and then chatted with the GM for a bit. It felt a little awkward since they asked some pretty typical interview questions, but it was otherwise laid-back, though still a bit uncomfortable.
