First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at New Balance.
Recruitment Consultant
I've been let down twice by New Balance's hiring process. After going through interviews, both times I got absolutely no follow-up. No calls, no emails, nothing. For a company that's global, this is way below what I'd expect for candidate communication. Recruiting is more than just filling positions; it's about showing the company's values and giving people basic respect. When people spend time getting ready, showing up for interviews, and going through your process, the least they should get is a simple 'yes' or 'no.' It's annoying to see such a big company let bad candidate service hurt its image. One bad recruiting experience can totally put people off a brand, and for me, two have done just that.

Sourcer
Started with a conversation with a recruiter, then spoke with the director of the division, and finally met with the country manager. The interviews were mostly about assessing my fit for the role, and the team was really friendly.
- What is your motivation for seeking employment at New Balance?
Senior Technical Recruiter
The interview process was dynamic and well received, with strong synergies. However, I was disappointed with the follow-up. After interviewing with the Recruiting Manager, I never received a formal follow-up to close the loop or provide a status update. As a manager, one should reach out to close the loop, but I never heard anything back.
