First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Neuronetics.
Key Account Manager
The interview process was quite lengthy and felt repetitive. They made me complete a business plan that was never actually discussed. Upper management wants to interview two candidates at once for comparison. Even if one candidate drops out, they'll wait for another before proceeding with your next interview.
- In what ways can your previous experience aid in engaging independent psychiatrists?
- How would you address the challenge of psychiatrists being unfamiliar with technology?
Practice Development Manager
I got invited to schedule a first interview and picked a time. I checked the instructions again and saw I hadn't picked an option in the right timeframe. (Weird that times outside the approved timeframe were even shown.) So I picked another time for the next week. On the day of the first time I picked, I got an email saying they appreciated our chat but had chosen another candidate. Since we hadn't actually talked yet, I emailed to ask if it was a mistake. It was. But when the real interview happened, the interviewer was abrupt and unfriendly. She avoided eye contact and didn't seem to listen to my answers. I was asked about travel, availability, and location, which were all fine with me. I was rejected for further consideration with the exact same text I got before. I was a good fit for the role and could do everything required, so I'm unsure why I was rejected. The whole thing felt unprofessional and unclear. The interviewer looked like she didn't want to be there. Just an unpleasant experience overall.
- Did you find the required amount of travel to be acceptable?
Territory Manager
The recruiter reached out about two roles after a big company restructure. One was for a Territory Manager, which is more about business development after the sale, and the other was a Capital Equipment Sales role. The interview process involved an initial call with the recruiter, followed by a phone chat with the Regional Sales Manager. After that, there was a face-to-face meeting with the Regional Sales Manager, and finally, a session with the National Sales Manager for final approval. For the Territory Manager job, they're really looking for consultative selling skills.
- Can you share an instance where you successfully persuaded a challenging customer to purchase your product?
Digital Marketer
After applying and initial contact via email, I had a discussion with HR and then the manager. Everything was quite fast, they treated my application well, showing respect and kindness, which was surprising compared to most experiences.
- What is the work environment like?
