Event Sales Manager
I got contacted about a month after applying for the role. I had a chat with the hiring manager and then that was it, I never heard back about where things stood with my application. It's been more than a month since then.
- Could you share some general thoughts about events?
- What's your strategy for selling?
- How do you approach customer service?
Programming Manager
The interview process lasted about 2 months, involving remote interviews with over 5 people from different departments and one in-person meeting. It was mostly smooth, but given the company size, it felt a bit long and lacked timeline updates. The talent acquisition manager did send me free tickets to Fotografiska as compensation for the time, which was thoughtful. I didn't get an offer, and they said I was 'overqualified,' although the VP mentioned interest in a more senior global role, which never materialized. The talent manager didn't follow up after I reached out multiple times, which was disappointing considering the effort invested.
- How do you define culture?
Growth Marketing Manager
I applied on LinkedIn and got a reply about a week later for a phone screen. The recruiter was super organized and a great help. After that call, I had one more phone chat before they invited me to come in person to the New York office. It was a really energetic place, and the interview felt fast-paced but fair, like a good conversation. I didn't end up getting an offer, but I thought the whole process and how professional the team was left a really good impression.
- What was your experience like during the interview? It felt more like a chat than a formal interview.
- What were your impressions of the employees? They seemed very smart and focused.
Busser
We'll do a walk-around of the station and then I'll ask you some questions about being on time and good manners. It's simple, and I'll give you a hint if you got the job: just listen to me and tell me how you really are. Do you like west coast or east coast? Are your dreams real or should you adjust the goal? Are you stuck on money or your looks, and how to be a better worker?
- What is your dream, or have you achieved it? What is your goal, or where are you on your journey?
