The interview process was pretty standard, nothing out of the ordinary. I spoke with two people from the department. They moved things along quickly and made a fast decision, so a second interview wasn't needed.
- What is something about you that isn't listed on your resume?
Software Engineer
The interview was pretty much one-sided, with the interviewer spending most of the time talking about their Titan product. There's a Java coding test in the first interview. It doesn't involve a lot of code, but you do need to think about how a few small classes fit into a provided framework. This coding test can last up to an hour and is seen as realistic. If you get a second interview, they might ask for past Java code samples beforehand. It's advised not to share any code due to their strict standards, and it's likely the second interview would be canceled if they don't approve of the code. It's better to just say you have NDAs with previous employers. To increase your chances of getting hired, it seems best to keep them guessing about your coding abilities.

They had 2 onsite interviews. The first one was a coding interview with some puzzle-like permission questions on an old computer, which was a group setting. The second interview was a 1:1 session where they discussed my resume and asked technical questions. This company seems to enjoy interviewing/torturing candidates from 9 or 10 am to 1 or 2 pm without even offering a snack. They make sure they eat while you're coding.
- Do you have object oriented programming knowledge?
- Can you solve these coding questions?
- Can you talk about your resume?
Software Engineer
We had an onsite interview. It started with a quick chat with HR, then a more in-depth discussion with the CTO, and finally, another lengthy conversation with an engineer. The HR person gave us a quick rundown of the company. The CTO went into more detail about the company and gave a short technical test. The developer talked about typical projects, etc.
