First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Netflix.
Department Assistant
Short first round HR interview. They asked about experience and thoughts on company culture. Lots of detail on how your experience matched the job description. Felt a bit like they were trying to make you nervous, but they seemed impressed when you stuck with your answers.

Executive Assistant
Friendly, Welcoming, and Streamlined Process Everyone I spoke with at Netflix was very friendly, approachable, and professional. Right from the beginning, the experience was kept smooth and low-stress, with clear communication and real support at each stage. It felt more like a collaboration than something intimidating, and I really liked the transparency and respect shown the whole way through. Overall, it was a very positive process that shows the company’s strong culture and values.
- Can you share a bit about yourself and your experience?
Administrative Assistant
It was for a job in France. I applied in October and got a call from an HR person based in the UK. After this first screen call (30 min), I received a positive feedback within a few days. Then I had a first interview with one member of the French team at Netflix France. After that I received another email saying that the feedback was positive. I moved to the "panels" with 4 different team members (4 x 30 mins). One week later I received a positive feedback and I learnt that we were 2 candidates at this stage. I went to the Paris office to meet 2 Directors, it was the final round. Five days after I received an email saying that the decision was challenging and they decided to pick the other girl. It was heartbreaking and I didn’t receive any feedback on the reasons. The team was amazing all along the process and coordinators and HR were really nice and proactive. The whole thing took almost 2 months and I went through 7 interviews for this position. My advice: a lot of people apply for Netflix and they really take the highest qualified people. They are really picky on the core values, you should really learn them from the beginning. Don’t consider the final round as a “yes”, they will judge you and compare you with the other candidate. They are absolutely nice but competitive. Even if you had a good connection during the interview process, if they don’t want to go further with you they will just let you down. They also ask many questions – the challenges you faced at work, how you handle situation – be prepared to all of this kind of stuffs. The interview process takes weeks and it’s difficult for your current company to adapt (be prepared to be free and flexible because they don’t really let you the choice of the schedules).
- What would you be able to bring to the team?
