Screening round is made of 3 interviews: hr call, coding, manager. First one is pretty standard, they just wanna know why you applied and your career. Second is a mix of python and sql applied to a simple data model about netlfix where you have to prove you can code basically. Third is a catchup with the hiring manager and you are asked more in depth questions about what you have worked on in the past. If you pass the screening phase then you have the second round: 2 coding interviews and another HR interview where they go in depth about their culture. One coding round is with a data engineer more focused on the analytics, so it's similar to the coding interview of the screening round, they just go more in depth. The other coding interview is done by a software engineer and they wanna test your algo and data structures skills, it's not leetcode but still you are asked an algorithmic question related to a problem you might face at netflix. Last round should be other 2/3 more interviews with stakeholders and engineering director, but I did not make it here so that's all i know.

Technical Coding Case Behavioral Other

There were four rounds: - Round 1: Codesignal Test - Round 2: Technical Interview - Round 3: Behavioral Interview - Round 4: Manager Interview. The whole process took about 2-3 weeks with very quick turnaround time between interviews (it only took that long because I asked for prep time).

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • Round 1: Codesignal Test (5 easy/medium SQL questions, plus 1 hard SQL question).
  • Round 2: Technical Interview (Resume walkthrough, a live SQL coding case, and a metrics case study on a hypothetical gift card program).
  • Round 3: Behavioral Interview (Focused on the "Culture Memo" and Netflix values, with standard "Tell me about a time" style questions).

worst experience ever, period. I was contacted by a recruiter through linkedin and quickly set up a call with them. Obviously culture was a big thing here at netflix and they can't emphasize it enough. Weeks went by, this recruiter had no update whatsoever. Maybe after two weeks, I got an email saying that this position had some change and they have to stop the process. Never mind, no big deal. Then suddenly out of nowhere, they emailed me again and scheduled a meeting. I accepted the invite. However, the recruiter did not show up to the meeting and no reply! This is the worst experience ever in a professional world. I can't believe they can hire talent who is responsible while clearly the hr is so not responsible. The company's culture is freedom and responsible, yet hr is acting the opposite way. What a joke!
