Started with a self-introduction, then went into a LeetCode medium problem. After that, they asked about my experience with stress testing and full link testing. Then, I had to design test cases for a shopping cart. They also checked my basic Java knowledge. Finally, we discussed the most difficult problems I've faced at work and how I solved them.

The manager interviewed me. It was a shock that the manager only had 1 year of experience, especially since I have more. The interview felt more like a casual chat or a learning session for him rather than a formal interview. While I don't focus on age or years of experience as a measure of capability, it does make you think. Why would someone with only a year of experience be in a management position interviewing someone with a higher salary and more experience? It makes you wonder if they're managing their time effectively. Candidates can easily check your LinkedIn profile, so they're unlikely to take an interview seriously with a manager who is barely out of the entry-level stage. Is the turnover high? That's often the reason companies promote young employees quickly. It's not surprising that the position is always open. Also, interviewees look for a leader. A person with just one year of experience should be much wiser as a leader, but he didn't sound like it.

The first interviewer asked me about my academic background, my former projects, and my interests. They also asked if I could combine my interests with existing products or design a new one. The second interviewer focused more on current products, asking for my opinions on their strengths and weaknesses, and how to improve certain design elements. We also discussed the business models of popular products at the time, including the needs they met and the reasons for their rapid success.

After submitting my resume, I had a Skype interview that seemed to align with the job posting. This was followed by a basic interview, also on Skype, where similar questions were asked. Then, I received an assignment to compare games and write a report. I suspect I might have put too much effort into it, considering it's a minimum wage position. They probably assumed I'd be seeking higher compensation.
