Sales Trainer
The interview process was okay, but having multiple interviews with the same person was confusing and seemed unnecessary. Communication wasn't great; they didn't update me on the process and went silent after I was no longer a candidate. I received an automatic email after making it to the final round, but there was no communication when I asked for feedback.
- How would you equip sales representatives to handle objections?
Collections Specialist
Started with a really quick and basic HR phone interview. Then, I had a second interview with the hiring manager. They asked me why I applied for the job without having direct experience in it. It was weird because they couldn't even explain what skills someone with experience would have, so I couldn't really leverage my background. HR seemed cool with people not checking every single box on the job description, but the hiring manager didn't seem to be on the same page. It was a bad vibe, and honestly, I was relieved they rejected my application.
- What makes you want to apply for this job when you lack experience in this particular area?
Demand Generation Manager
The interview process was quite disappointing. The hiring manager/interviewer, who was a Senior Manager (the same level I've been at for five years), seemed more interested in getting new campaign ideas than conducting a proper interview for the Manager level position I was applying for. She cut the meeting short after 30 minutes, even though it was scheduled for an hour. She also claimed I didn't have the right experience, specifically mentioning ABM expertise, which was barely a focus in the job description and for which they don't even have an ABM platform! Given my experience at companies like HPE, Oracle, and Intuit/Quickbooks, and her background being in unknown companies, I found this quite disrespectful.
- Can you walk me through an ABM campaign from its inception to its completion?
Director of Software Engineering
I had six 1-hour interviews, each one-on-one. The questions were good and focused, so they didn't overlap. It was a big time commitment, though. I think it would be better to have two interviewers per session so they can hear each other's questions and answers, cutting the total time to 3 hours.
- Can you describe a specific situation you encountered and how you resolved it?
- Please share an example of a project where you had to manage several stakeholders with conflicting needs.
- Tell me about your experience managing team members who were not meeting expectations.
