It was a zoom call with the recruiter, then a zoom call with the director and C-level execs, then an in-person panel interview in downtown Orlando with 8 people, including the CEO. Then there was a zoom interview with a small team in the department. After a month of no response, I reached out and was told they weren't hiring for the role right now.

They called and said I'd be moving on, so I waited a week for the next interview, but then they canceled it last minute. They said they were looking for a specific skill not in the job description. I feel like I dodged a bullet, but still annoyed they wasted my time.

First, there's a phone call to check your qualifications: if you're in school, if you can come to the office 3 days a week in person, etc. Then, a standard 'tell me about yourself' interview. Finally, you get a dataset to analyze and present. They really care about your personality and how well you communicate, maybe even more than your technical skills.

Presentation Behavioral

I had a total of 4 interviews, with 2 on Zoom and 1 in person. They had me do a presentation using messy fake data they provided, with weird fractions for impressions and other metrics not seen in real platforms. They gave unclear instructions and seemed to focus more on how the presentation looked than the analysis itself. One of the founders was really pretentious during my interview. I never heard back after the in-person interview a few months ago, which felt tacky after getting so far.
