First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at NeST Group of Companies.
Vice President of Finance
I had past experience with them so it was kind of a recall. The Director Finance had a detailed discussion with me over phone and in person. Then the Group Chairman and Managing Director gave me 30 minutes of their time to discuss the purpose of the role and my availability. They followed up after that and confirmed my joining.
- Do you have a strong understanding of family business structures to help us establish finance systems and procedures, given your senior-level experience?
QA
After the application review, there was an initial interview. Then came a technical or skills assessment, followed by four in-depth interviews. One round was with HR, and another was with the Technical Lead. The lead time was 2 weeks. Expectations were clarified. The final step was an Executive or Leadership Interview, usually with senior leadership or the hiring manager for a final assessment. This interview might focus more on strategic thinking, leadership qualities, and long-term fit with the company.
- What machining processes have you experienced?
Mechanical Design Engineer
So first there was like an aptitude and technical test, it was pretty easy actually. Then we had a technical interview at campus, and finally a technical interview at their office. The first interview was all technical, covering manufacturing, mechanics of solids, and design. The second interview focused more on how I used these concepts in my projects and other experiences.
- I was asked mostly about my projects that I'd been part of during my bachelors.
Data Architect
The interview process wasn't very structured, with questions asked somewhat randomly. The interviewer sometimes ended the session, then came back with more questions. Also, I didn't get quick updates from HR about what happened, which made things uncertain. Basically, the whole thing felt messy and didn't lead to much. Honestly, I'd think twice about recommending applying here because of how disorganized it was.
- How do you show common elements in a list?
- How do you show uncommon elements in a list?
- In SQL, show the end date for transactions on different dates.
