First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Nespresso.
Sales Assistant
Very fair process, interesting opportunity. Hope for a long-lasting relationship. At least 2 selection steps, first with HR then with the store manager. Pay in line with the commerce contract plus other benefits.
- What of my characteristics would have made the difference
Sales Representative
It was an assessment day with 12 interviews (HR + Operational) and a sales simulation. There was also a team exercise like 'the castaways'. Recruitment felt very cold and unmotivating for working in the group.
- Do you know our competitors?
- Why should we hire you?
Sales Assistant
I had a phone interview with a recruitment agency first, and then I was invited in for another interview. In that interview, there were store managers and 2 recruitment agents, plus 2 other candidates. We were asked to do 3 tasks. First, we talked in a group about what good customer service is. Second, we had to choose and market a product to sell as a group. Third, there was a 1 on 1 interview. They told me I would hear back within 3 days, but I haven't heard anything since.
- Do you have experience with previous sales targets?
