Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Nespresso.
Brand Ambassador
The interview process was very straightforward and they provided great feedback. First, I had a phone call screening, then a video interview. It was a great process and required a very good level of preparation. After that, there was an extensive training period.

Brand Ambassador
I met with the manager at a cafe. She told me about her job and made it clear that I would only be guaranteed work if I could promise full availability, 40 hours a week for the next 4 months. She then asked me to tell her my entire schedule for the next 4 months, which I don't always have that far in advance. When I told her I can't work up until Christmas because I need to go from BC to Ontario to visit my family for Christmas, she said she doesn't see that as important because she doesn't celebrate Christmas.
- Tell me why you're interested in this company.
- What challenges have you faced?
- How do you handle challenges when they come up?
Marketing
The hiring process is very clear but takes a long time (about two months). It starts with a first meeting with HR, then a second meeting with the direct manager, and a third meeting with the department head. I didn't like at all that, at the end of the process, instead of an email from HR saying they chose another candidate, I received an automatic rejection email, the same kind they send when you first apply.
- Prepare a business case for the last stage.
