Project Engineer - Electrical
I had an interview with the site manager for the avenues project in Riyadh. It was a 1-hour interview. The interviewer was really professional and helpful, and I felt very relaxed talking to him. He asked a variety of questions, and the whole interview was conducted in English, even though he's Lebanese.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Do you have deep knowledge in construction?
- What about safety in construction projects?
Project Engineer
First, there was an HR interview, and then it moved on to a technical interview. The technical questions were about my past experience, specifically about managing difficult projects from the very beginning until they were finished. This included engineering aspects, how I dealt with technical problems, buying electrical equipment, and installing electrical systems for both LV and ELV.
- Can you explain the project life cycle?
- What is your understanding of electrical procurement?
Vehicle Inspector
It was a face-to-face interview. First, they reviewed my certificates. Then, we discussed my professional achievements. After that, they asked me many questions about my daily tasks on site and the responsibilities I've had. Finally, we discussed safety in this profession.
- How many years have you worked in this field?
- Tell me about your professional accomplishments.
- Describe your day-to-day responsibilities at a job site.
Senior Architect
Nesma Saudi Arabia reached out on LinkedIn. They asked for my CV if I was interested. Three months later, I received an email for a Google Meet interview. When the scheduled time arrived, they did not join the meeting, leaving me waiting for an hour without any notification of postponement or apology. This was my first time experiencing such unprofessionalism, indicating issues with their HR recruiting team.
