Recruiting Coordinator
I applied on LinkedIn and got an email for a phone screen with a recruiter. She was nice and said she'd email later in the week. The second round was a 45-minute recruiting coordinating exercise on Zoom. After a week, I got an email for a virtual onsite, which had 4 blocks of 45-minute interviews (one was 30 mins) with 2 employees each. They were all nice. The recruiter said I'd hear back in a week, but it took 2-3 weeks and I got an email rejecting me. I was upset about the time invested. I asked for feedback and the recruiter said she'd chat, but after I sent my availability, I never heard back, which made me feel like my time wasn't valued.

Recruiting Coordinator
I applied online and after that, I got a phone screen for 30 minutes where they asked basic questions about my experience. Then I had a phone interview with a recruiting coordinator, and we went over some situational and behavioral questions. The on-site part was 4 hours long, with 5 interviews that were about 45 minutes each. I also had lunch with another recruiting coordinator. Even though I didn't get the job, the whole process took about 3 weeks. Nerdwallet has a great interview process. The recruiters were very communicative about next steps and definitely gave some great insight as to why nerdwallet is so awesome! I definitely had a great interview experience.

Recruiter
The interview process was really smooth and well-thought-out. Everyone on the team was great and super helpful! It kicked off with a conversation with the hiring manager. After that, I was invited for an onsite interview where I met with several recruiters from the team and the Director of Recruiting. It was a really straightforward process. I'm excited to give candidates this same great experience in the future!
- Can you tell me about your previous job experiences?
- What's an example of a tough-to-fill position you encountered, and what steps did you take to fill it?
