First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at NEOS.
Intern
You have to do several interviews, both online and in person. They start with many candidates and gradually reduce the pool, so it's quite a long process, but they keep you updated. In the end, there's an in-person interview with several people from the company.
- Could you tell us about your past projects?
- Can you discuss your academic background?
- What drives you and what are your motivations?
Intern
The interview process had a total of 4 rounds. The recruiters were very adamant. They would schedule interviews and then forget. You'd have to call them 3 times to get it scheduled because they know you want the job.
- What is Data Lakes?
- Tell me about yourself.
- Can you tell me about your previous work experience?
Software Engineer

- When a teammate isn't pulling their weight, how do you deal with that in a team setting?
- Would you say you're a creative individual?
- How do you manage your time when you have multiple tests during finals week?
Principal
The interview process was straightforward, leveraging NEOS's close-knit leadership and HR team to speed up decision-making. It involved a single round of meetings with the CEO, CIO, and other leadership team members. This approach had low overhead, was fast, and transparent compared to typical hiring processes.
