Software Engineer
The interview process started with a recruiter call, then I spoke with the Team Lead about my experience and familiarity with graph databases and related tech. I was then given a week to complete a take-home assignment using any tech stack I wanted. After that, there was a session to discuss the solution and do some live coding to add features. The final rounds included behavioral interviews with the Hiring Manager and the VP of HR. The whole process felt very focused and purposeful. The team was clear about the day-to-day responsibilities and expectations, which was helpful. Sam from talent acquisition was supportive throughout. My first application didn't work out, but Sam stayed in touch and later connected me with this opportunity. He also explained what to expect in each round and gave quick feedback. I felt encouraged and supported. The company seems to have a great culture.

Software Engineer
It started with a recruiter call, then a chat with the hiring manager. After that, I had a coding challenge at home. The recruiter and hiring manager were nice. I asked them about the company's negative Glassdoor reviews and past layoffs, but the hiring manager was unsure. Now, I see more positive reviews, which is strange - maybe they asked employees to post them. I got rejected after submitting the code, without getting a chance to explain my solution. It's probably for the best, saves us both time. This whole thing was weird. I thought they were interested after the second round, but they rejected me after the coding challenge.
- Can you tell me about your past experiences?
- What do you like to do in your free time?
- Do you have any questions regarding Python?
Senior Software Engineer
It was a lengthy process with about 5 meetings, including one with the recruiter, some managers, and the CEO. There was also a take-home assignment. I really enjoyed the discussions with the interviewers; they were all friendly and intelligent.
