Applied and waited about 3 weeks to hear back. Then went through a month-long interview process: a virtual chat with the hiring manager, an on-site interview, and a virtual interview with the VP of quality who is out of state. After the third interview, I was ghosted by the company, even after I reached out to the HR recruiter. No offer was extended, and no reason was given.

So a heads-up for the interview process here: 1) HR wants us to do a behavior-based interview, meaning we'll ask about how you've acted in past situations, not hypothetical ones. Like, instead of 'What is integrity?', we'll ask 'Tell us about a time you showed integrity even when it was tough.' 2) There's a hands-on part where you'll get written instructions for a product task. You'll usually do this with another candidate. It's not about following the directions perfectly since they're a bit vague on purpose. We're watching your communication with the facilitator and your teammate. Don't try to be a lone genius. Talk, ask questions, delegate. Don't just struggle alone silently. 3) Your education or perceived intelligence isn't the focus. Leave your ego behind, it's a negative. We care about your learning ability, how you take feedback, communicate, and collaborate.

Got a recruiter call asking me to come to a hiring event, but I had trouble getting the info email and had to chase them for it. The hiring event was straightforward: a 30 min chat with lab directors, then a 30 min lab assessment. I did well in both and was sent for a drug test. I heard back the next day that I was moving on and needed to do a background check. The email said I'd hear back in a week, but I had to email them again the following Friday for an update. No response the next week. I called and left a voicemail for the recruiters asking if I was still being considered. Still no response, and I never heard back.

I applied for this job and about 2 weeks later I got an email asking me to come in for an interview. We scheduled it for a Wednesday. After the interview, they emailed again saying they'd let me know on Friday if I got the job. On Friday, they said my feedback was good but they were concerned about my 40-minute commute. They wanted to discuss this and ask more questions, after which they intended to hire me. They said they'd call Monday. Monday passed with no call. I called around 4pm and was told they were at lunch. Tuesday also passed with no call. I called at 10am asking for HR but they weren't in. It's been over 2 weeks since that email and I still haven't heard back. I've called and left 3 voicemails and emailed 6 times. No response. I'm really unhappy with the lack of professionalism and communication. I'm glad they showed their true culture before I was hired and disappointed about the wasted time. Don't waste your time.
