They reached out to me and I had a video call with a technical lead and then a few days later a phone call with the VP of Technology. I thought it went well, both guys were enjoyable to talk to but did not hear anything after that. Tried reaching out multiple times after the meetings to find out anything about my application or if there were any questions but simply was ghosted after the 2nd interview. Would have been nice if they at least said “We are looking into other candidates at this time.”

I went to an office for an interview with the hiring manager. He was really nice. The bad part was the unprofessional atmosphere around me. Several people outside the interview room were swearing a lot, which made a terrible impression. It was very unprofessional and doesn't look good for visitors. At one point, someone yelled out to others, "I'm about to go and drive my car into a (bleeping) wall on my way home." It was really vulgar language, like something from a frat house, and it showed the kind of work environment they have. People who think they need to swear constantly to be productive should just work from home. The interview felt like the movie "Wolf of Wall Street." What was even more surprising was that actual clients, who were looking for mortgages, were in the waiting area and could probably hear all the swearing. It makes a bad impression on everyone and is just not professional.

It was a 3 step interview process. The first interview was a basic interview, they ask questions about your experience and tell you about the company. The second interview I was given a tour and met who I would be working with. The third interview I was offered the position. Once offered the position, we signed paperwork and went over my duties. I started the following Monday.

I did an initial phone screen. Then, they sent me a photoshop doc of a website homepage and I had to recreate it. I did that and sent it back within 24 hours. They got back to me quickly and told me to make the design responsive and mobile-friendly. I did that and sent it back within 24 hours. After a week of not hearing back, I followed up. They said they would reply by the end of next week. I never heard from them again.
