I got an email for an interview, then I talked to the head of school and the assistant principal. They asked some pretty tough questions about my resume. I felt like the assistant principal was judging me for leaving my last school early.

After checking the organization s LinkedIn for HR talent positions, it was noted that Neighborhood Charter Schools does not seem to hire qualified people for their HR talent department. This seems to be a disservice to the low-income students of color they serve. One of the HR talent team members appeared to have no prior relevant experience for their executive role, and the other members don't seem to qualify based on the required experience. It's concerning and raises questions about why qualified candidates with extensive years of experience in the same role, working with the population served, and meeting all job description checkpoints are being rejected. The question is why this organization is hiring candidates with no experience. Are there discriminatory hiring practices? Is a lawsuit pending?

I got there half an hour before my interview was scheduled. I waited, and then the interview began. It was really unprofessional. One interviewer sat next to me, and the other sat on the table. They asked unfair questions and then cut my interview short after just 10 minutes, like they were in a rush. They even gave me school stuff on the way out, then called me the next day to say I didn't make the cut.
