The interview process included a phone interview with HR, the hiring manager, and a team member. They asked general questions about my background rather than technical skills. I was told a decision would be made in about a week, with an in-person interview as the next step. After two weeks with no response, I contacted HR and was informed of an "unexpected delay" and that decisions about in-person interviews would be made early the following week. When I followed up again that Friday, I was told they had hired an internal candidate, effectively ghosting me. The interviewers were pleasant, but the overall process was unprofessional.

You just need to fill out the paper application and drop it off at the city office. Then, someone from the park board will call you to let you know if you got the job.

I used a recruiting company to get myself this job, but the interview process for this job took around 3 months to complete. The only events I was involved in during this time included 2 phone interviews with the company.
