First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Neal Analytics.
Data Scientist
I interviewed for a data scientist position. It started with the recruiter call, which went well. Then, there was a technical interview. The person interviewing me was really monotone and didn't seem to care about what I was saying. After that, I didn't hear anything for a while, even when I tried to follow up. After almost two weeks, I found out they hired someone internally. It felt really unprofessional how hard it was to get any kind of update.

Project Engineer
HR called me to confirm my details, and then I was shortlisted after one round of technical assessment. This assessment included aptitude and SQL questions, along with two easy programming questions. Overall, the interview was easy and the interviewer was good.
- One SQL query
- Two programming questions
.NET Developer
I had a face-to-face interview. After the interview, I was told HR would contact me because HR went for lunch. After two days, I called HR for feedback because there was no contact from them.
- Can you explain the difference between an interface and an abstract class?
- Tell me about SOLID principles.
- What is the Singleton pattern?
Data Engineer
It was a 3 step interview process: 1. HR and basic concepts of the job. 2. Technical round. 3. Manager round. Since it was through college placements, we followed these steps, but it might be different if you applied directly from LinkedIn or referral.
