Digital Marketing Manager
I went through 2 rounds of interviews, and they asked some really pointed questions. There was also an Excel quiz, which honestly felt pretty outdated and just created unnecessary stress. Like, if someone doesn't know Excel, that's a pretty basic skill to pick up, and I don't think quizzing on it is that important in the grand scheme of things.
- Can you tell me about your experience with Excel?
Marketing Operations Assistant
The first step was a phone interview where we discussed my background and qualifications, including my previous employment and experience in marketing operations. We also covered my education, what interests me most about this specific role, and why I believe I'd be a great fit. We went over the company's benefits package, like medical, 401K, and vacation/PTO, and briefly touched on the union aspect. I was informed that the next step would involve a call to schedule an assessment test.
- What makes you the most suitable candidate for this role?
Affiliate Relations
It kicked off with a recruiter phone screen. The recruiter was pretty thorough, but honestly, they couldn't really dive deep into the role's specifics. They asked pretty typical background questions, and I had to walk through every past job, even ones from way back when, which felt a bit much given my career stage.
- Can you share details about your general background?
- How would you describe your collaboration and working style?
Specialist
The interview process was fast but covered everything. I spoke directly with the hiring manager. She gave a lot of details about the job, the company's past, and the pay and benefits. She answered all my questions and told me what to expect next.
- Can you share an example of a successful SEO or content strategy you've led?
