First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at NCR Voyix.
Manufacturing Engineer
It was a really thorough process, with questions that really tested critical thinking and practical skills. I interviewed with several team members, which was great because I got plenty of chances to ask my own questions and make sure it was a good fit for me. They didn't do any physical technical skill tests during the interview, but you definitely need to be able to talk about your past technical projects.
- Tell me about a project that didn't go as planned and how you handled the changes.
Software Developer
So, the interview was a bit of a journey. It started with an online assessment, then we moved to an in-person tech interview. After that, there was an in-person managerial interview, and finally, an in-person HR interview. The tech part basically involved working on problems similar to the ones in the online assessment. We also dove deep into my past academic projects and tackled some Java-specific questions.
- Could you demonstrate file reading using Java?
- How would you perform file reading in Java?
- Show me how to read a file in Java.
Project Coordinator
The interviewers were super professional and respectful, and I felt totally comfortable talking about my background. The convo gave me some useful insight into the role and what they expect. It would have been nice if they had been clearer about the timeline, next steps, or interview structure, as that would help candidates prep better.
- Can you tell me about your strengths?
- What about your weaknesses?
- Where do you see your career going?
Executive
The final round of interviews for this executive role was pretty bad. One executive was late and totally distracted, not even remembering my background after being interrupted multiple times. Another international executive just jumped into the conversation without any intro. While one hiring exec was great, the others were a huge red flag. Also, the executive recruiter just ghosted me after the third round with zero feedback, which is really unprofessional for this level. Honestly, given the lack of professionalism and respect from the C-suite and the recruiter mess-up, I'd be really careful about joining this company with the current leadership.
- Can you discuss your experience in the SaaS industry?
