First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at NCR Atleos.
Customer Service Associate
The interview was pretty easy, the vibe was chill. It was a pleasant experience meeting with the manager and team lead. They asked me some personal questions, about my familiarity with Excel and MS Office, and what I knew about NCR Atleos.
- Could you tell me about your career aspirations?
- Are you proficient in Excel?
- Do you have experience with MS Office?
Senior Electronics Engineer
So first I chatted with HR, then had an online interview with the hiring manager. The interview was mostly about why I wanted the job and what I'd done before. They mentioned a second interview, but it never happened and they didn't really get back to me when I asked.
- What motivates you to apply for this position?
- Could you elaborate on your past work experiences?
- Can you discuss your electronics design expertise and the skills listed on your resume?

I went through six interviews for this role. The first three interviews were completed and I didn't hear back. I emailed TA twice before they finally responded to let me know I wasn't selected. Then they reached out again, and I had two more interviews and an onsite tour. I was told I would hear back by the end of the week or early next week. I followed up by email weekly with no response. I then saw the job reposted and asked if I wasn't being selected to move forward. Finally, they informed me again that they were not moving forward with me. If I hadn't reached out proactively, they would have ghosted me after five interviews and an onsite tour, which is terrible TA practice. Recruiters can't answer every email, but if someone has had more than one interview, at least have the decency to communicate.
- What's your motivation for wanting this position?
Software Developer
The interview process was pretty standard. There were about 40 students from MCA or BTECH backgrounds, and we had to get through 3 rounds: 2 technical and 1 HR. Out of the 40 of us, only 8, including myself, made it through all the rounds. Then the company put me on hold, which was weird because they had about 19 openings but only selected 4 out of the 40 people. I don't get why companies would have someone pass all the interview rounds only to reject them, it doesn't make sense. I get they want the best person, and I'd do the same, BUT NCR Atleos kept people waiting for almost a month, which is just crazy.
- Tell me about the projects on your resume.
- Can you explain basic Data Structures and Algorithms?
