The interview process was quick and efficient and consisted of a phone interview with HR, a self recorded video interview, and two follow up interviews with the hiring manager. Overall the interview process was only a couple of weeks long.

The process began with a surprise phone interview, with no prior notification or preparation materials provided. Thankfully, they followed up with a second interview. I was informed I was among the top 10 out of 100 applicants. This second interview lasted 30 minutes and involved two other interviewers. The atmosphere was relaxed. When I inquired about the timeline for hearing back, I was told it would be at least a month to a month and a half. Following the interview, I sent thank-you emails to both interviewers but received no response. A month and a week later, I followed up again with the same individuals to check on the status, but still heard nothing. I was disappointed by the lack of communication regarding the outcome. Furthermore, one interviewer mentioned that my wearing a suit made them feel uncomfortable and that the company was not conservative. The entire experience was quite perplexing.

I was first reached out for a quick phone chat, and after that, I had an online interview using an app that was user-friendly. The app presented questions, and I recorded my responses, with the option to re-record as needed. I think this made things smoother for the HR team and helped me feel more at ease since it wasn't a live, face-to-face interaction. Not long after, I was invited for an in-person interview. It began with a facility tour and then moved on to a discussion about my past work and projects. The atmosphere was very welcoming and positive, and the tour was a great way to start.

The job was for a senior role where I'd be the main person for front-end. The job ad mentioned Angular as their tech stack, but they were open to people with React or Vue experience. Since I have React experience, I confirmed a few times if it was a good fit. My first interview was with the hiring manager and a principal engineer. They asked me a lot of Angular questions. I even confirmed again that they knew I had React, not Angular, experience, and they said they did. It was an awkward and bad experience.
