NBK announced they were hiring MBAs from top business schools for an MBA rotation program. After meeting with the head of recruiting, I was told that after three years, if there's an opening, I might be able to rotate. I met with the business unit heads, then an offer was presented. I had to turn it down since it was below market rate. I was surprised that there were no job descriptions, the actual role wasn't specified (they have many openings), and the pay was way below market rate.

First, there was a MS Teams call with HR and some tech staff. I had to do a small assignment on how I could improve the emergency change process, for which I submitted a swim lanes PDF, which I think they liked. The second interview was face-to-face in the London office with the IT director, where they asked general questions like 'tell me about yourself' and some scenario-based questions.

The interviewers seemed genuinely interested in me as a person. We talked about my CV a lot, especially my skills, past relevant work, and why I wanted this job. It was about a 30-minute chat. Felt more like three adults discussing my abilities and fit for the role, rather than a typical interviewer/candidate setup.
