Client Education Specialist
The interview process involved 3 stages. It began with a recruiter phone screen, followed by a 3-person interview. The final stage was a panel interview that included a 10-minute presentation. It was a bit disappointing that the hiring manager wasn't physically present for the third interview, only joining by phone. There was no direct contact with the hiring manager; all communication came through the recruiter or their assistant. The panel interview included several team members, and each of them asked at least one question.

Systems Consultant Sales
After applying online and submitting my resume, I had my first phone interview. Following that, I took a personality test. Then came my second phone interview, after which I was invited to the company headquarters for an in-person interview. This onsite interview involved meeting with the VP of Sales and the Director of Sales. It included a one-on-one interview and a product demonstration. I was given details about a fictional company and a slide deck for the NAVIS Narrowcast product. The main point of the 'mock' presentation isn't about knowing the product thoroughly, but rather assessing how I gather information from them. They use SPIN selling, which focuses on asking questions to uncover the customer's 'pain points'. So, if asked a question during the presentation, the advice is to respond with another question to understand the reason behind their initial question. After the mock presentation, there was a traditional one-on-one interview. A lunch with other Sales Consultants was also part of the day. Later, I had a couple of shorter phone interviews after the presentation. The people were really nice, and it's an exciting, growing company.
- Tell me about your earliest competitive memory.
Sales Consultant
I got a phone interview on a weekend, then an assessment that I aced with super-fast typing. They said I'd hear back Monday about orientation for the next Friday if I was a good fit. I didn't get a call, so I called them, but no callback. The next day, I got an email saying they had good news but needed to get back to me. Then another email Thursday asking me to call, also about good news. I called twice, no return calls, then emailed about my calls. Friday, they called asking why I missed orientation. Then they apologized, said they messed up the calling part, but asked me to come in to do paperwork and start training the following Monday. I went in, did the paperwork, and showed up early Monday for training. About an hour in, someone showed up late, and they told me to leave because they had too many people and would call me if anyone dropped. It felt really unprofessional and humiliating. They really missed out on a great employee.
- Can you share an experience where you faced a challenge and how you managed to get past it?
- What would be your ideal vacation destination?
Vacation Rental Specialist
The entire process was handled via email. It started with a one-way video interview where they recorded questions, and I recorded my answers. Following that, there was a personality assessment involving word selection to describe myself. It felt like a long and drawn-out process, quite similar to how Amazon handles their remote work hiring.
