I got an email with a take-home assignment. They sent a password to decrypt it after I confirmed I got the email. I had a week to finish it. It was a CTF-style assignment. I finished it on day 2 and sent everything via email in the format they specified. Five days later, by the end of the week, they emailed saying they weren't proceeding because they didn't get the completed assignment. I told them I sent it 5 days prior, and they ghosted me. Their rejection email said they were 'in a luxurious position' because of the many skilled applicants, which is awful.

It was a 3 stage interview process. The first stage was a theoretical knowledge round, and the second stage was a technical round with online programming, which was really tough. The last stage would be with the HR, discussing the details about the contract.

The interview process involved one task with a 1-week deadline, then a 1-hour technical interview. After that, there was another task with a 1-week deadline, followed by a final interview. The steps weren't clear from the start, so I didn't know how long the whole thing would take. I ended up waiting two weeks after finishing everything (which was about 2 months from my first chat with the recruiter) just to be told they were 'looking for someone with more experience'.
