It started with an agency, then a recruiter from Navex, and finally a Hiring Manager/Tech Round. I was taken aback by how technical the HM round was, as they hadn't mentioned that. Everyone I spoke to was really nice though. The tech assessment felt like a pop quiz, just a bunch of Python/infrastructure questions. I think they should switch it up.

First, a chat with the recruiter. Then, I met with the hiring manager. After that, there were two technical interviews: one was a backend panel, and the other was a frontend QA panel. The technical questions were relevant and good. It was also nice to have conversations and get to know some of the people I might be working with.

The process started with a 50-question cognitive exam, where results weren't shared. Passing this led to a 1-on-1 with HR to retake the exam for verification. Next, a 1-on-1 with the hiring manager involved technical questions about past experience. The final stage was a 3-hour panel interview with six interviewers across two panels, asking repetitive and seemingly unfocused questions. I was asked to whiteboard a basic coding problem with follow-up 'what if' scenarios. Despite not receiving feedback on why I wasn't hired, I was told this is common.
