It started with an introduction phone call and then I had an in-person interview. The whole experience felt comfortable and quick. Unfortunately, I haven't received any feedback and I'm not sure if I got the job. This was about 3 months ago.

Sent documentation (very extensive) which I had to update. Then there was a psychometric test and an English test. After that, an HR interview and finally an interview with the hiring manager. There's a long wait between stages, depending on hiring needs and openings.

They have a competitive examination process. They evaluate experience, qualifications, and English level, then conduct the competitive exams with an HR aptitude questionnaire, a psychometric test, and finally a technical interview. The process seemed objective and rigorous because external personnel were part of the evaluation board. However, I feel the process wasn't fair because they had someone in mind for the position, as happened to me. On September 20, 2024, they called me to say I was awarded the position. Excitedly, I quit my projects and moved from Oviedo to Cadiz. Months passed without them calling or responding to my emails for the rest of the year. On January 14, 2025, they called to say I'd have a medical check-up soon and would start in February, advising me to give 15 days' notice if I was working. On January 23, at their San Fernando de Cádiz facility, they performed the medical examination, for which I was summoned by email received on the 18th. But after that, they didn't call for months. They only replied to an email on February 25, 2025, saying everything was fine and they were awaiting my start date. Finally, on May 9, 2025, after many months of waiting, they told me they decided not to fill the vacancy due to organizational changes. So, if their preferred candidate doesn't get the position, they make you wait until you find something else, and if you're infinitely patient and keep insisting, they just give you an excuse.

The interview is about 1 hour 30 minutes long. It includes problem-solving and questions about your career, English level, and any extra academic training. There will also be some questions about hydrodynamics and propulsion, and a theoretical interview in English.
